September Merge Community Summary
Hello Everyone, it’s Adrian Here!
It's been a busy month for the Merge/Codex Community; I was able to share cool new stuff in August, so let’s have a quick rundown of the highlights.
New Videos
You Should Try Animated Floating in Web Design
I started off this month by exploring the new design trend of using animated floating objects in websites. If you want to make an ordinary page feel alive, the animated floating object would definitely help!
New MidJourney 6.1 Features for Design / Illustrations / Web
Mid-journey came up with many improvements that can be useful to help build better websites, so I give my thoughts about them in this video!
Office hours
We had office hours every week going in-depth with Wix Studio. It was quite enlightening to learn new stuff directly through Wix’s team. I believe everyone who was a part of the office hours would have benefitted towards their Hackathon skills and professional development.
In August we went through various crucial topics involving the hackathon such as Installing NPM Packages and utilizing the Wix Data API

Exercises
Due to the ongoing Hackathon, the exercises I shared this month involved Wix Studio. All of these exercises provide practical benefit to improve existing Wix Studio Applications.

Challenges
Since not everyone was working on the hackathon, so I created a mini-challenge based on a blog post. I think this would be great to flex your design skills.

Design Reviews
I am still doing design reviews so if you have any feel free to message me in the design review channel.
Blogs and Design Tips
I believe reading literature about existing design and development is key to keeping your skills up to date.
Diagrammatically understanding a full-stack Wix application
This blog post was published on the Merge Web Dev website and provides a quick way to understand a sample example of a full-stack Wix Application. I plan to have more and more custom blogs on the website that solve specific problems.
Outside of blogs posted on the website, I shared a myriad of blogs both focusing on design and the hackathon. I am sure you will at least find some of them to your liking.
